In this episode, we are going to share with you a strategy to ’Developing Your Personal Growth Plan’
Scriptural Principle
Proverbs 18:15-16
15 The mind of the prudent acquires knowledge, And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
16 A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.
So how does a person become INTENTIONAL about personal growth and development?
What does it look like for a man/woman to be actively involved in expanding and growing your potential?
Why should we even concern ourselves with personal development or growth?
This program is all about Strategic Living. It is about BECOMING all God created you to be. It is about becoming the FULL EXPESSION of the true potential that is within you.
Potential is not realized by osmosis. Potential is realized through planning, hard work, discipline and blatant intentionality.
- Tiger Woods did not wake up one day and just take over the golf world because he thought it would be cool
- John Maxwell, great author and authority on Leadership did not just happen into his massive sphere of influence
- These and other great leaders answered a call, but went to work, intentionally, on themselves

1.Grow Spiritually
- Relationship with God
- Inner peace

2. Grow Your Character
- Identify areas of character deficiencies
- Be ruthless with your weaknesses
- Check your attitudes
- Are you lazy or disciplined?
- Are you waiting for ‘it’ to happen, or are you making it happen?
3. Grow Your Mind
- As a man thinketh, so is he
- What are your limiting beliefs?
- What knowledge do you need to acquire?
- Are you feeding your mind?
- Are you a reader?
- Podcasts
- Classes, seminars, webinars, courses
- Be a learner!
4. Grow Your Competency
- You can’t ’perform’ well if you have not prepared well
- If you want to be a writer, you have to work at become a writer
- If you aspire to BECOME good at something, you have to invest in relevant training and expose yourself to people in that field
5. Grow Your Confidence
- Knowledge and Competency foster confidence
- The more you DO something, the better you become
- The better you become, the more confident
- Address insecurities
- Deal with limiting belief systems
- Eradicate and eliminate negative voices and influences

- Without vision, people perish
