We’re unpacking the seventh of 12 factors that determine success, which is having goals, and following through on planning. If you don’t have a plan you’ll lose your way, and if you don’t have set goals, you’ll hit them every time (in a big fat goose egg). Goals and planning are imperative in your day-to-day and in your long-term successes. Beyond having vision for what is possible, you need to implement steps for how to reach those possibilities. I’m not talking so much about the ability for you to physically see things around you, but for you to see beyond from a planning and dreaming and envisioning perspective. The ability to see beyond your current reality may seem simple, but is so profound in the pathway to your success. In order to see success, we need to have vision beyond our today. We’re unpacking the fifth of 12 factors that determine success, which is having a desire to serve others. While I’m not encouraging you to “give away the farm” so to speak, I want you to pay close attention to what I have to say about involving others and going out of your way to serve them wholly. Evaluate the people you already work with or have relationship with and see how you can serve them. Also, whenever you meet a stranger, see if you can be proactive in serving their needs. Incubate a desire to serve others.
